Collaborative Project — Web Design — Branding2024
TasteBuds is a collaborative project from my third year at university. We developed a brand that aimed to facilitate connections between recently graduated and yo-pro friends. We developed the brand and visual system collaboratively, and then each took the lead on a touchpoint that we could apply our skills to. Print advertising and video commercials, including social media were done by my group members, while I took the lead on the website design.

We created TasteBuds to encourage friends in very busy stages of life to meet up a maintain connections with their support system. It is an ingredient delivery service inspired by companies such as hello fresh and bargain box, with the significant difference that the ingredients get delivered to a selection of addresses in the group, so that everyone is encouraged to get together to make it happen. Connecting over food and through the social aspects of cooking can be instrumental in breaking the ice, starting conversations and building connections.

"We believe that, in early adulthood, community is everything.
We also know that meeting up with friends beyond just a quick cup of coffee can be difficult to organise within your busy schedule, so we’ve taken the stress of planning and grocery shopping off your plate (haha). As well as this, we’re doing our best to prevent you from opting out because you just can’t be bothered. The others can’t cook the meal if you don’t bring your box of ingredients, so it literally wouldn’t be the same without you!"
